Top 5 Spring Favs

There are hundreds of reasons why I love each season, but there is something special about Spring. It's the time of year when everything has a fresh, new, youthful start. After the cold and damp winter is behind us, we all start again, and here are my top 5 favorite things about Spring! (in no particular order)

1. The smell of fresh cut grass, even though I'm allergic!

2. Spring flowers, of course! So cute, as they emerge from their winter slumber.

3. The first time I switch from hot coffee, to iced coffee. I always look foward to this, it's a true indicater that Spring is here! :)

4. Love. Everyone and everything seems to have a little extra love/compassion this time of year.

Last, but certainly NOT least:

5. Dining al fresco/BBQs! Nothing like a warm evening with a cool beverage, and whipping up your own creation of the grill.

Spring, we've missed you!

Love is in the Air!

No promises of course, but I'd like to begin blogging again... AT LEAST once a week!

I cannot believe how fast time has flown by. It's April for goodness sakes! My very dear friends are getting married THIS WEEKEND! I remember the engagement like it was yesterday!

I cannot believe how many of my closest friends are getting married this year. Are we adults now or something? What did I miss?
After Ty & Barbara this weekend, I have 2 weddings to go to before Myrick & Suzy tie the knot in Ocean City. Then it's just a few short months until our BIG DAY! After that, our cousin is getting married, and then Jessica & Andy in November! Ahhh what a wonderful year full of exciting times!

All of our planning is going very smoothly. I am very lucky, I have the MOST supportive fiance, who is super involved, and I am so thankful for that! He has his own opinions on things, and changes things to his liking. I love that its HIS day too, not just 'mine'.

The most exciting thing that happened recently would have been meeting with the florist for our centerpiece mock-up. I died. I am in love with my florist. Please, anyone who needs a florist, call Sharone at DaVinci Florist. He is a GENIUS.
I am so excited for everything to come together. I can almost smell the aromas of fresh cut flowers.

I promise to try to get back on here and update you at least once a week!! Thanks for not giving up on me!

XOXO
