So I've made a promise to myself to choose LOVE for the month of Feb. I know, I should choose love for all 12 months right? Well, I'm going to be realistic and start with the month of love.
I'm going to make a conscience effort to choose the LOVE in any situation that comes my way this month. In my constant journey of being my "authentic" self, I am going to love any and all things that come my way. That's right- even those people that have nothing better to do than complain about there life, everyday, and the people that truly try to bring others down... you know....the ones than make foul statements and spend their lives being miserable--- I'm going to LOVE them...whether they like it or not! HAH! Because guess what? They aren't hurting me, they are hurting themselves. How about that for an attitude? It's about damn time. I have far too many good things in life and I have far too much love surrounding me everyday to be anything less than a beaming ray of LOVE.
I also choose to reward myself. There is nothing better than needing no one's approval on anything but your own. It's empowering. It's great to have friends, family and even a spouse to ask for advice and talk through things with, but I think that the true approval should come from within, and should come from me. I choose rewards such as facials, pedicure, and of course, shoe shopping.
And that, my friends, is how I will be living my February.
....I will of course keep you posted on the shoe shopping I intend on doing tomorrow. Baaahh!

yeah, yeah...its been 33 days...I know
I'm back! I am SO sorry to you all for keeping you all hanging for the past 33 days. I know I shouldn't make any excuses, but the holidays were craaazzzyyyy! Crazzzy goood that is.
I have such amazing friends and family. Sometimes I don't think they are real. I am so damn lucky.
Other than that, I'm trying to be a fierce professional business lady and make it RAIN!! I have been working really hard on new marketing plans, and networking my little butt off. Its been a blast though. Its so empowering to actually have a CAREER. I can't believe I even know how to spell that word. Hah!
As an update, my little Minnie is still truckin. She is SUCH a little warrior. :) :)
I think that Darick and I are planning on going down to Florida for the weekend of Valentine's Day. It will be a nice little break, plus we get to see Grandma while we are down there and also try to stop in to see my Papa and ShirleyJean. I hope it works out. We've been kind of waiting until the last minute to book tickets just in case the $$ gets tight. OHHH ahahha I almost forgot--- Darick---- he is sooo freakin hysterical!! This guy actually asked me if I wanted to drive to Florida. hahah I think I may have offended his offer by how hard I laughed in his face. I mean, don't get me wrong.. I love my man to death, but ANYONE who knows me knows I do not do well on long card rides. I just can't ever get comfortable and it would be a big ol' disaster. By the time we got to Charlotte, NC I would have told him to drop me off at the airport and I would fly the rest of the way. Hhahahah-- so if it all works out, and we fly down to Florida, it will def be a good time. :)
That is all for now, I will MAKE SURE I get REAL with this blog. Sorry my first blog in the longest time is so short, but I've got to work my way back in!! I MISSED YOU ALL!!
